Abstract
Letter from Finley Grise to Dero Downing regarding the lawsuit about The Fly and his opinion about the changing visitation policy in the residence halls.
Transcription:
Dear President Downing
Just a note to say "thank you so much" for your thoughtful kindness in sending to me ^ a copy of Mr. Bratcher's opinion on the suit brought by students seeking to show "The Fly" on the Western Campus. Even today, with all its wild notions and prenotions, I'm shocked, angered, and depressed by this effort on the part of, supposedly - intelligent human beings. Mr. Bratcher's statement is a masterpiece.
Thanks, and my very best wishes, and deep confidence always.
Sincerely,
F.C. Grise
Finley
I aslo feel keenly about the effort of students to radically change visiting regulations.
