The last page of Henry Russell's notes of Lecture No. 13 Mr. Corson's The Teacher's Surplus of Knowledge, transcribed:
Ideals are never attainable, but at least approachable. By having these qualities we may approach this ideal - the ideal of a perfect teacher. Go on in this good work. These qualities make discipline a matter of courtesy.
Such qualities are fundamental attributes in every teacher's life.
