Description
Marion Flexner's cookbook Quick Cooking from the Top of the Stove. Depiction of happy homemaker on the cover with modern kitchen appliances for 1950s. Marion Flexner born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1900 attended Wellesley College .She married a doctor in 1922 and moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Marion joined a local women's writing group and began submitting pieces to the Louisville Courier-Journal. Flexner is best known for her six cookbooks.
