Spears Place. This house is located 1.5 miles E of the junction of Meredith Road and Route 216 in the Vernon Quad. It was built between 1876 and 1900. It is a two-story, frame, center passage I house, with a single-story frame ell addition. It also has a two-story veranda with gingerbread detail, as well as Victorian window/door detail.
