Description
Full size violin with label reading "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis/Faciebat Anno 1715" pasted on the inside underneath the F hole. The underside of the scroll is marked "Conservatory Violin." Instrument is most likely a 20th century German copy, possibly made in Dresden. Does not include a bow or chin rest.
Owned and used by Cartwright family of Glasgow, Kentucky.
