Abstract

The present study investigated the relationship between the marital adjustment of 73 couples and the degree of their marital role congruence. Data were compiled from questionnaires completed separately by each husband and wife. No significant relationships were found among the well adjusted and poorly adjusted couples relative to their role discrepancy scores.
