Abstract

The Land Between the Lakes is a thesis of original poetry. It is divided into three related, but separate, sections. Section I, Finding the Way, consists of poems related to the author’s personal history and quest. Section II, A Connective Link, consists of poems in which the author identifies herself within a feminine context, specifically as she relates aspects of her spiritual development within a cultural and literary milieu. Section III, The Land Between the Lakes, signifies both a geographical and a spiritual landscape within which the author participates.
