Description
Soldiers gathered around the entrance to a large frame building, believed to be a stable. Signage indicates that this was the U.S. Quartermaster and Commissary. It is believed this is in Savannah, Georgia, where the Third Kentucky Infantry trained during the Spanish-American War. This is one of a number of photographs collected by Frank M. Thomas when he served as Chaplain for the Third Kentucky Infantry U.S.V. in Cuba.
