Photograph of soldiers at attention in front of their tents during the Spanish-American War. The photograph is marked on the front "1st Battalion, 3 Reg. K.S.G." which stands for the Third Regiment of Kentucky State Guard, later known as the Third Kentucky Infantry U.S.V. This is one of a number of photographs collected by Frank M. Thomas when he served as Chaplain for the Third Kentucky Infantry U.S.V. in Cuba.
