Holocaust Survivor, Violinist and Author
Abstract
WKU Libraries and WKU’s Departments of Music, Sociology and Philosophy & Religion hosted presentations October 17-18 by Samuel Marder, professional violinist, author and Holocaust survivor. On the 17th at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Bowling Green, KY, Marder discussed his new book Devils Among Angels: A Journey From Paradise And Hell To Life and talked about his experience of living in a concentration camp in Transnistria, Ukraine at the age of ten. His presentation drew a roomful of audience.
