Description
Clean Up Day was an annual event during Henry Cherry's presidency. Faculty, staff and students turned out of class to clean up the campus and do other necessary upkeep to buildings.
This photo taken on October 21, 1920 shows students clearing land to the south of Recitation Hall and directly behind the College Heights Foundation building. The Cedar House or Faculty House was built the next year from logs harvested in the 1920 clean up.
