Description
Cabinet card of the Gerard Funeral Home in Bowling Green, KY at 927 College Street. The images shows two horse drawn hearses with drivers as they wait at the front entrance to the business. One of the hearses has an African American driver. There is a large cross on top of this hearse. There is also a sign for the Public Telephone office. There are also people seen looking out of the upstairs windows of the next building which has a balcony. This was the Pearson's Boarding Houses. This building also housed the W. A. Cook, Real Estate and Insurance business. Wallins Studio was next door to Gerards. Eugene and Frank Gerard are standing in the doorway.
