Description
Dr. A.J. Dixon House. This house is located 2.3 miles W of US 231 on Route 1332, then NW .3 mile on Grove Road in the Allen Springs Quad. It was built around 1880 by Doctor Dixon. He was a county doctor with an office on his land near the house. He was said to have made patient visits on horseback after swimming the creek before a bridge was built in the vicinity.
