Description
The Tabernacle. This structure is located on Highway 100 East, 829 Holland Road (only .9 miles SE of the Scottsville square). It was built in 1897 by Jim Gutherie as a religious revival structure. It is a multi-story, frame structure; a square form with a three tier pyramidal roof. It is significant within the context of The Tradition of Gospel Music in Allen County, Kentucky, 1921-1950. This structure is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for Allen County.
