Description
Thompson Manion House, presently known as Turner House. This house is located 215 West Cherry Street, Scottsville, KY. It was built around 1865 by John Manion with bricks that were made on the property. The Turners bought the house in 1952 and remodeled it, making the addition in 1954. This is one of the oldest houses in Scottsville. Its present owner is the founder of Dollar General Stores.
