Description
Ferris Keen Home. This home is located .9 mile NW from route 234 on Big Springs Road in the Meador Quad. It originally belonged to the Hinton family. While the exact date of the structure is unknown, there is a grave yard on the property with tombstones marking Hinton names with dates in the 1820's it is estimated that the log structure was built around these dates. It is a two-story log pen home that has been restored.
