Description
Mulberry General Baptist Church and School. Presently known as Mount Union Baptist Church. It is located 1.8 miles SE of Allen Springs on US 231. It was originally called Mulberry Hill Church and School. It was build by Reverend Moses Jasper Bonner in 1864 at a location not far from the present site. Unfortunately, that structure burned down in 1869. Bonner rebuilt the church in 1870 (this structure), on land given by William D. Thacker and Edward L. Ayres.
