June 27 - KK Meetings Will Be Private – According to officials of the local KKK the meetings to be held in the Klan’s field on the nights of June 30 and July 1 will be private, and no outsiders will be admitted.

Led by the Bowling Green Klan band, members of the local order and the visitors clad in their robes started on their parade through the streets of the city, following the marching, two abreast, around the track at the Fairgrounds. The hooded figures, marching silently through the city’s streets with arms crossed, made an impressive sight as they wended their way through the downtown section and back to their meeting place.
