Abstract
There are many different types of students who wish to attain a higher education. All across the nation, there is a current surge of non-traditional students taking to campuses in pursuit of a post-secondary education. We, as student affairs professionals, must strive to be able to identify a non-traditional student, become aware of the challenges they encounter, and offer services that can better tend to their unique needs. This video addresses these facets in an attempt to better understand the non-traditional student and how to best serve them.
