Description
The first mule-drawn streetcars made their appearance on the streets of Lexington, Kentucky in August 1882. Here several cars are waiting for passengers at the entrance to Woodland Park. In 1890 the mule drawn cars were replaced by electric streetcars. Housed in WKU Library Special Collections.
