Abstract
Although it is true that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step—how do you know that each step is in the ‘right’ direction? And while everyone dreams of success and happiness—few realize that each step we take forever changes not only how we see ourselves but how we define success, happiness, and our journey itself. In this presentation, Dr. Dobersek shares her educational and professional experiences and discusses the events that shaped her understanding of how people find success and happiness amidst the missteps, stumbles, and failures inherent in everyone’s journey.
