Introduction

This 1st issue of the Kentucky Teacher Educator Journal (KTEJ) was published in May, 2011, online, at a website that is no longer available. It was published under the editorship of Nicole Fenty with Wanda Chandler and Melinda Raice as associate editors. KTEJ 1(1) is being republished along with the 2nd issue of KTEJ, now referred to as the Kentucky Teacher Education Journal. That name change reflects the KTEJ as a publication of the Teacher Education Division (TED) of the Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children (KYCEC).
