Description

One tenth pint bottle of Kentucky Derby whiskey. This whiskey was part of the first batch distilled after Repeal Day December 3, 1933. Due to prohibition the whiskey could not be aged for four years, therefore it carries a label to that affect. Labels:

  • Kentucky Derby The Nation's Favorite, One Tenth Pint, 100 Proof, A Straight Whiskey, distilled by Glenmore Distilleries Co., Owensboro, Kentucky
  • Notice The contents of this bottle is a straight, unadulterated whiskey, containing no artificial coloring or flavoring matter, made from home-grown cereal grain only and differs from the U.S.P. requirements in that it is not aged in the wood for four years.
  • Distilled and Bottled by Glenmore Distilleries Co. Incorporated Owensboro, KY. Manufactured by Distillery No. 24 District of Kentucky January 1934 Bottled at Distillery taxpaid Warehouse No. 24 District of Kentucky, August 1934 Straight Whiskey. One-Tenth Pint, 100 Proof
