Announcement in College Heights Herald regarding Sue Borders:
Sue Carole Borders, a freshman math major, was crowned District 4 Dairy Princess at Glasgow, last Thursday night.
Sue Carole, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daskel Borders, will represent the district in the Dairy Princess competition of the American Dairy Association of Kentucky convention in Louisville next February.
Another Western student, Linda Whitlow, the retiring district queen, crowned Sue Carole. A sophomore at Western, Linda is from Scottsville.
