Description
Creston Concertino for Marimba was released in 1998. Herein Christopher Norton and friends perform works by Johan Sebastian Bach, Bob Becker, Daniel McCarthy and Norton himself featuring the marimba.
Artists contributing to the CD include the Nashville Chamber Orchestra and Bob Becker Ensemble.
Christopher Norton came to WKU in 1987 and served as conductor of the Bowling Green Western Symphony Orchestra for eight years. He also conducted WKU's operas was guest conductor for the Nashville Sympony and Vanderbilt orchestras. Norton is currently professor of music at Belmont University in Nashville.
