Facsimile of a seed box label that reads: "If You Want a Splendid Garden Buy the Shakers' (South Union, Ky.) Garden Seeds. They are more reliable and better adapted to the climate of the South than Seeds grown in a colder region. We Give More and Better Seeds for the Money than Any Other Company." The box held varieties of the following seeds: bunch bean, pole bean, beet, carrot, cabbage, corn, cucumber, collard, celery, kale/borecole, lettuce, melon, mustard, okra, onion, parsley, salsify/vegetable oyster, spinach, squash, tomato, and summer turnip. Seeds sold at 5 cents per package. The label is printed on yellowing paper in red, green, and black ink.
