Portrait of William Goebel entitled "Hon. William Goebel, of Kentucky. 'Our Martyred Governor.'" It shows a large image of Goebel framed with laurel, and small drawings of the Governor's Mansion, the Capitol, the assassination, and Goebel lying in state are in each corner of the poster. Goebel's last words, "Tell my friends to be brave and fearless and loyal to the great Common people," sit beneath his portrait.
