Model 1851 frock coat possibly worn by Private James P. W. Barrow, Co. K, 8th Kentucky Cavalry (U.S.A.).

Note: James P. W. Barrow, 1842-1863, of Logan County was mustered in on August 5, 1862. He died of disease on March 25, 1863, while in the Union hospital in Bowling Green, KY.
