Abstract
The Maddening Variable offers a selection of creative works from my time in the Western Kentucky University MFA program for creative writing. It features two long short stories and a mix of poems that have been published and personal favorites from the author. Many of the works examine masculinity, though the curation process has prioritized quality over absolute cohesion.
