Description
Military encampment photograph with numerous small tents and a few larger tents. It is believed that this was a military training camp near Savannah, Georgia, where the Kentucky Third Infantry trained during the Spanish-American War. This is one of a number of photographs collected by Frank M. Thomas when he served as Chaplain for the Third Kentucky Infantry U.S.V. in the Spanish-American War.
