The Talley Family Counseling Center opens in Ransdell Hall. Supported by the generous financial contribution of Dr. Page and Betty Talley. The late Dr. Talley is a native of Russellville, KY and graduate of WKU (’53). Ms. Talley is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Virginia.

Dr. Page and Betty Talley spent their careers in counseling and higher education, which informed their vision to establish a center to train highly effective counselors and provide quality mental health services to the community at no cost.
