Description
Sarah (Pearce) Thompson, wife of WKU's third president Kelly Thompson dies. She was born in 1910. Mrs. Thompson served as president of the Faculty Wives Club and established the Faculty Wives Club scholarship.
Dero Downing said of her, "Sarah Thompson was a valuable person and friend who through the years I had the privilege and the pleasure of knowing. She and Dr. Thompson gave unselfishly of themselves."
