Two soldiers sparring in the foreground with a tent encampment behind them and some soldier looking on. The blue tint of this photograph is a result of the processing and is known as a cyanotype. This is one of a number of photographs collected by Frank M. Thomas when he served as Chaplain for the Third Kentucky Infantry U.S.V. in Cuba.
