Navigating the Publication Process- What to Expect from the Perspective of a Journal Editor
Presentation Type
Tutorial Presentation
Abstract
The creation of a research question, development of methodology to test it, and writing up your findings is a significant accomplishment. Failing to share your findings, however, might be a disservice to the greater scientific community. Scientists learn from one another through the medium of scientific publication. The process may feel intimidating for scholars unfamiliar with the process. In this presentation, Dr. Whitley Stone will discuss what to expect from the publication process starting from development/formatting of your project to acceptance and publication of the work.
