Abstract

The literature on vitamins shows that the greater number of the studies made of vitamin "A" and "D" deficient diets have been confined to their efforts on the vertebrates. Only a few controlled experiments have been conducted to determine the effects of vitamin "A" and "D" deficient diets on the invertebrates.

The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effects of vitamin "A" and "D" deficient diets on crayfish.
